When Complex Co, a civil/construction company commenced works on the Ngamawari Park (Acton Waterfront) redevelopment in Canberra, they partnered with 1300TempFence to deliver a safe and practical temporary traffic management solution that maintained public access throughout construction.

As part of the wider Acton Waterfront revitalisation, the project required a solution that could safely manage pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle movements within this busy public precinct while supporting the ongoing connection between Canberra’s city centre and Lake Burley Griffin.

94 metres of SmartWall to create a dedicated pedestrian and cyclist corridor alongside the construction zone. Its compact, low-profile water-filled base reduced trip hazards by eliminating protruding fence feet, while allowing the system to sit closer to the work area and maximise available pathway width.

Together, these systems provided clear separation between vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists while allowing the temporary layout to adapt as construction progressed.
