Something uniquely Melbourne is Tram track works, usually performed at night to minimise disruptions.

The Department of Transport and Planning and Yarra Trams regularly carry out maintenance and renewal work across Melbourne’s tram network to improve operations and passenger experience. As part of this work, the Maribyrnong Rd in Melbourne’s North West, was resurfaced at night to support tram tracks and improve the tram ride quality along this section of the tram network.

Our expert team were tasked to install 4000 meters of temporary fence with 80 support stays in 5 hours, supplied on 7 trucks along Maribyrnong Rd after hours, at night to safely facilitate the resurfacing works. It was most definitely a huge effort by all involved
