When construction began at the prestigious Marriot Hotel, a 5-star luxury resort in Surfers Paradise, the client required a secure, discreet, and visually appealing solution to separate active works from public areas, without compromising the premium guest experience.
Our Queensland team delivered exactly that, installing our innovative new SmartWall system, a state-of-the-art temporary fencing solution designed for high-profile, space-sensitive environments.
This project marked our first SmartWall installation in Queensland, and the Marriot Hotel provided the perfect showcase. In total, we supplied and installed:

The resort environment presented unique challenges. With extremely tight site conditions and no direct access to the install area, our team had to manually transport each SmartWall unit approximately 70 metres from the truck unloading point to the installation site, navigating through live resort spaces with precision and care to avoid disruption.
This is where SmartWall’s smart design was ideal. Each unit is fitted with easy-lift handles on both the sides and middle, making it significantly easier for our crew to manoeuvre the barriers safely and efficiently through the tight pathways and around obstacles.
In such a high-profile, operational environment, safety and professionalism were paramount. Our team worked meticulously to ensure a safe, non-intrusive install, adhering to the highest safety standards while maintaining a minimal footprint on the resort’s daily operations.
The sleek design and compact footprint of the SmartWall made it the perfect choice for this project. Its low profile minimises tripping hazards, while its brightly coloured base ensure visibility, and the system effectively separates the work zone without encroaching on public or guest space.
The client was particularly impressed by the premium appearance and practicality of the SmartWall, noting it was the perfect solution for a construction site located within such a prestigious venue.
